Twitch's Inferno

Can you survive the nine layers of Twitch hell?

Twitch's Inferno is a game developed to experience the depths of Twitch hell. The game is inspired by Dante's Inferno, which was explored in The Divine Comedy.

In this game, viewers can help (or hinder) the streamer by deciding which powers they get from treasures they collect. As a streamer, you will have to survive all nine layers of Twitch hell to win the game. Try to thwart off viewbots and react streamers to make it to the end! Viewers can appear in-game by being active in the chat.

Chat interaction

  • Join: Viewers can appear in-game by being active in the chat. If you type in chat, you will be able to boost your mob for a short time.
  • Voting: When the streamer collects a treasure orb, viewers can vote which powerup they want the streamer to get (!vote (1,2,3)). The streamer will get the most voted powerup.
  • Power-up or down: Every level, viewers can vote to either power-up or power-down the mobs. Choose either emote under the minimap to vote. The right emote powers up the mobs, the left emote powers them down. Each mob spawned looks at the multiplier at that moment.

Unfortunately, because of my fulltime j*b (and me starting a bit late), I wasn't able to fully finish the game as I had envisioned it. I still hope that you will enjoy playing it and see the potential of my game :)

Attributions

I wrote all of code and voiced some of the effects. I also "tried" to draw some art which is very obvious while playing. Everything else is attributed at the bottom.
